We've provided 9 themed template entry forms covering both 'real' vocations such as being a teacher and imaginary vocations such as being a superhero. We've also included an unthemed entry form for all the other things young children imagine they'd like to be! This template, along with all the others, can be downloaded for free from the links below. Alternatively, you can request further resources by giving us a call or emailing us’ with the number of each template you require and we'll post them to you. Please note, all the entry forms can be photocopied.
Each individual poem must have the contact information section completed, and each envelope of entries you send must have a school entry form enclosed. If you have lost your school entry form please use a sheet of your school’s headed paper. You’ll also need to include a contact name and the number of entries you are enclosing in each envelope.

• Poems must have the contact information completed.
• Poems must be written on one of the template entry forms provided.
• Only one entry per pupil may be submitted - but there is no limit to the number of entries per school.
• Poems must be the young writers’ own work.
• Age limit - up to 6 years old.
Young writers whose work is selected for publication will be notified by letter. Parents of accepted entrants will be asked to sign a copyright form to give permission for publication and to confirm that the poem is their child’s own work. They will also be invited to purchase copies of the book, but this is not a condition of publication. Copyright will remain with the author at all times. Schools will also receive notification of successful entrants along with any unused work.

Ensure all the poem templates are completed and a name, age and address has been included. Put all the entries into an envelope with one completed school entry form to reach us by 18th December 2009. Send to: Freepost RLTS-TLTX-YYSK, If I Could Be Competition, My First Poem, Remus House, Coltsfoot Drive, Woodston, Peterborough PE2 9JX.
