It's Easy to Take Part
Ensure all the poem templates are completed and a name, age and address has been included. Put all the entries with a completed school entry form to reach us by Friday 30th July 2010.
Each individual poem must have the contact information section completed and each envelope of entries you send must have a school entry form available here. You’ll also need to include a contact name and the number of entries you are enclosing in each envelope.
Entry Rules
* Poems must have the contact information section completed
* Poems must be written on one of the template entry forms
* Only one template per pupil may be submitted - but there is no
limit to the number of entries per school
* Poems must be the child’s own work
Children whose work is selected for publication will be notified by letter. Parents of accepted entrants will be asked to sign a copyright form to give permission for publication and to confirm that the poem is their child’s own work. (Copyright will remain with the author at all times.) They will also be invited to purchase copies of the book, but this is not a condition of publication. We do provide every participating school with a complimentary copy of the book their children’s work features in. Schools will also receive notification of successful entrants along with any unsuccessful work.
