Congratulations to Legh Vale Nursery, Merseyside, for being award £1,000 as the winner of our 2008 My First Poem competition.

"We were absolutely thrilled at the news that our Nursery children had won £1,000 in your competition. The money couldn’t have come at a better time!  We were able to update our Traditional Tales resources for the whole of our Foundation Stage and KS1. This includes a  wide range of books, ICT resources, puppets and  props to be used for role play. The resources were used for the first time on World Book Day, Thursday 4th March 2010.
